What do I need to access the course?
All you need in internet access (via 56K modem although broadband will obviously be quicker) and Microsoft Internet Explorer v5 or above. Only the Microsoft browser is fully supported but you may find other browsers will run most of the content although may not display certain features.
Do I need to install anything on my PC?
No, nothing gets installed on your PC. However, you may need to change browser settings or turn off any pop-up protection software as the content is displayed in 'pop-up' windows. See 'Nothing seems to happen when I try to start the course'
Nothing seems to happen when I try to start the course, what's wrong?
This is a classic symptom that your system is blocking pop-ups. They may be blocked by the browser (depending on what version you have) or by security software on your PC.
If it is your browser:
- Click on tools in the browser menu bar
- Select 'Pop-up blocker'
- Change setting to allow pop-ups
If pop-ups are being blocked by your (not you) security software, please refer to the Help file for this software to identify how pop-ups may be allowed for this site.
